Designing Parramatta: New Ideas to Shape the City
Design Parramatta is a joint project of Parramatta City Council and the NSW ‘s Government Architect’s Office. Through a competitive process it selected fifteen teams to develop urban design strategies for the Main Streets, Lanes and and Publuc Spaces and Parks in Parramatta.
Turpin+Crawford Studio worked with Hill Thallis Architecture + Urban Projects and Jane Irwin Landscape Architecture on an urban design and public art strategy for Parramatta’s premier street and the country’s first planned street, George Street.
