Drawers of Water
Drawers of Water conceals a waterfall inside a tower of drawers. Intermittently and unexpectedly, water overflows down the stepped drawers of this outsized Victorian furniture cabinet. The artwork combines the charm of mechanics with the intrigue of an everyday object given extraordinary function. Whimsical and poetic, mercurial nature momentarily erupts from the depths of domestic solidity.
