Green Noise II

Green garden hose, tightly coiled and woven contains a hidden, atmospheric sound reminiscent of the ethereal quality of water in a rainforest. Air and water mix invisibly within the kilometre of hose basket-woven into a shiny, elongated form that lies across the gallery floor and rises up against a column. Emanating mysteriously from its impervious plastic surface, the non-specific but evocative sound contrasts curiously with the form that contains it.

In Green Noise II the sublime of the natural joins the prosaic of the suburban in a strangely evocative relationship
