Green Noise I

Entering the white space of the gallery from outside, an unwieldy form woven in green garden hose coils its way through a small high window and down to spread curvaceously across the timber floor. Air and water mix invisibly within the kilometre of hose to create a mysterious, atmospheric sound reminiscent of the ethereal quality of water in a rainforest.

Green Noise juxtaposes the sublime of the natural with the prosaic of the suburban in a strangely evocative relationship.
